He showed them around and told a story about every piece of junk they asked about. Normally, they do a lot of dealing with the buyers in order to get junk for cheap, but this guy was giving them such low prices, they not only didn't deal him down, for one sign they paid twice as much as he asked for. It was a really nice gesture from a couple of guys that make money by buying junk cheap. When the buying was all done, they interviewed the home/junk owner. He said he really liked these guys (buyers). He thought they'd be fun to spend some time with. Then he added, "we come from the same Easter basket." That has got to be the cutest and most descriptive way of saying, "we have something in common" and "I like you." He made me want to be from their Easter basket too! It's nice to feel like part of a group and to be liked and wanted and needed. I realize this blog is on the internet for anyone in the world to see, but when I think of the regular readers at this blog, I like to think we're all from the same Easter basket.
