Every Season
I was jogging today and two trees caught my eye. I had taken a picture of them this winter after the most beautiful frost and I liked the picture so much I posted it on my blog and used it as a back ground on my lap top. I run down this road all the time but I when I looked this time I was at the exact same angle where I had take the picture. Since I had a very still, snow covered image in my mind it was interesting to see the green leaves swaying in the wind.
The girl who killed herself a couple of days ago was the sister of one of Johnny's close friends, so it's been on my mind quite a bit as it was when I saw these trees. It reminded me of one of my favorite songs by Nichole Nordeman, Every Season. I'm not going to dive into all the impossible questions surrounding a tragedy like this one. I'm just simply finding comfort in small things like this song.
