Well, I think I will have to try to post every day even if it is a little boring, because I can't remember to do it every Monday and thursday. I don't operate that way...which is a good point! How do you operate? I used to try really hard to clean my house and organize my stacks of bills and piles of papers and rows of ducks, but it never worked. I may have had some successful moments, but overall I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. The frustrating part is that I spent a lot of my life working on this and I couldn't tell the difference.

My therapist once asked me why I went to an organizing class. I said I needed to become more organized. She said you need to become more of who you already are and forget this organizing business because you'll never be any good at it. Besides Jen's motivational speech, I was also highly inspired by more than one woman who dared to open their home in spite of their oganizational disabilities. And I learned that if I can write messages to my kids in the dust on the piano instead of ignoring them while trying to file piles, then I'll have invested in something that will be there when I retire. Love and relationships are so much better than sparkling vases and untouched furniture. I wonder if this would be a good time to tell my husband the kids broke the dining room table?
