For Andy's birthday party today we brought some of his friends to Splat Tag in Hudson Wisconsin. I highly recommend this place. This was our second time there and the referees are really great with the kids. They give us a lot more than the one hour time limit and they coach the kids on hot to play and keep the game moving. They are fantastic.

The first time we went there, I sat out, which was much painful to repeat, so this time I played! (The picture above is not me. I wasn't willing to bring my expensive camera into a shooting area.) We had a blast! We played girls vs. boys and I think we ended up tied by the last game. We crawled, dodged, hid, ran through sticky bushes and shot a lot of paint balls. I was so out of shape, my heavy breathing kept fogging up my goggles.

I highly recommend paintball for all ages. I really don't know if it hurts or not because the only time I got hit it got my sleeve without hitting my skin, but none of the fifteen year old girls or boys were complaining. Well, a couple of the boys were, but that's to be expected. I am officially done going out for foo foo coffee and am now recruiting moms who want to play some paint ball. I don't go to the gym, but this is great exercise and it has to be more fun than sweating to some music while trying to out pedal the skinny lady next to you on the bike! So, who's in??? Maybe you'd even like to invite your aerobics instructor or your perfect neighbor or your mother-in-law. The possibilities are endless!
