I've been so busy, but I need to say SOMETHING about my birthday! Saturday morning Ann came and got me at some obnoxious time in the morning for my birthday breakfast. I tried to talk her into a later time than 7:45??? but she had to get to basketball later...of course. At the Machine Shed, a place we've never gone for breakfast, I turned the corner to find 5 more of my friends waiting for us! Well, Sue wasn't actually waiting for us, because she was late, but that's neither here nor there. It was such a surprise and I love surprises...mostly. This one was awesome! It was the highlight of my birthday! On Sunday we had a barbeque party. The weather was perfect and having friends and family all around was even better! Thanks to everyone who came or wished they could have come or were glad they couldn't make it, but said they Happy Birthday anyway. Thanks! I've posted some pictures to the right. I asked for pens and hot tamales and I GOT SOME! I also got some wonderful handmade gifts, coffee, money, and lots of cool stuff. JB grilled burgers and I think everyone had a lot of fun.
