I was thinking about what I wanted to post today and I tried, like I've been doing for years, to think of what you like to read. Then it came to me; why don't I just ASK!? So, with that said, I'm going to try to explain in one paragraph why I write this blog and in the comments I would love to hear WHY you read it. I think your comments will give me a better idea what you want to hear.
I wondered for a long time why I like to write at all and though it sounds really simple, I think I was just born with that gift and people feel good when they're working with their gifts. I also have a bit of a rebellious streak that doesn't appreciate a lot of the unjustices I see around me and writing seems like the best way for me to vent my frustration and/or make people aware of another perspective on a particular topic. I also like to write to celebrate an event or share an "aha" moment when the stars align to show me some revelation that I couldn't grasp before and now has opened my eyes. I write when I'm sad, mad, happpy, bored, and busy. I just like to write.
So now, help me write fewer boring posts by adding your two cents. Why do you read this blog? If you have trouble commenting and want to add your opinion you can send it my e-mail: jlguiton@comcast.net. I'm trying to go through the settings one more time to make it easier to comment. I know that's been a problem in the past. Thank you for taking the time to add your opinion and for reading my blog.
p.s. Feel free to leave a comment about other things you like or dislike that are on the blog page. Is there something you'd like to see or not see? Any advice is accepted.

Too many reasons but this line is one of the reasons: "I also like to write to celebrate an event or share an "aha" moment when the stars align to show me some revelation that I couldn't grasp before and now has opened my eyes." That's insight beautifully stated!
I meant to sign my name to that last comment (used Anonymous because it's easiest). Henry
I like to read your blog because it makes me laugh. You definitely have a gift to write about every day moments (the good, the bad and the ugly) that makes me smile. You have a way of saying what I am thinking, I just can't say it as well :-) Those moments that we all have as wives, mothers, daughters and wonder if anyone else out there has the same thoughts. You give them voice.
Thanks for the comment, Stacy. It makes me want to write some more. It makes me feel like I'm not just talking to myself...which my kids catch me doing quite often. Ha.
