It's a rainy morning, so my work, gardening, is on hold for a couple of hours. I've had a hard time getting to my blog, so I've decided to shorten up my posts. Maybe even limiting myself to a sentence or two that sum up my day. Yesterday some words from a song came to mind, "time keeps on slippin' into the future." I think it's by the Eagles. I've often wanted a stop watch that could stop time because I feel like if I just had a little more time I could catch up to the fast pace of life. I realize that I'd probably never catch up because life is insatiable. There IS no catching up because there are an unlimited number of things to do or see or accomplish. I've found that I don't do enough fun things. I get so focused on accomplishing things that I forget to have fun. So, making time for fun activities and new hobbies has moved up on my priority list. Rather than a bucket list, I think I'll start smaller and make a "fun activities" list. Feel free to comment and give me some ideas.

You're right, Jenny, there is no catching up--mostly. But you can pare down and eliminate. Like saying "no" for instance to some things. I t may be hard at first, but then you'll feel so free. And you'll be free-- to do those things you've CAREFULLY CHOSEN.
Love and hugs to you!
